Frequently asked questions
What files can I import?
Any CSV or diary spreadsheet with a Title column. Status and Rating are optional. Community exports and official tracker exports both work.
What columns do you need?
Title is required. Status and Rating are optional. AI maps messy column names, status labels (Backlog, Playing, Completed, Retired…), and rating scales. Steam ID / store URL map when present.
How do you match games?
Exact catalog title, catalog alias, or Steam app ID — not an LLM guessing the game. If Steam is connected, unmatched titles also try your Steam library names. Rows that still do not match stay unmatched.
Will it overwrite games I already track?
Games already in your WListDB library are flagged. You choose what to import. Nothing is added without a match and a status.
Can I still import Steam?
Yes. CSV is for leaving another tracker. Steam import still pulls owned games and playtime in one click.
