FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does the Steam library import work?
Connect your Steam account once and WListDB pulls your entire owned library, including playtime. Pick the games you want, set their status, and they are added to your backlog in seconds — no manual entry.
Is it free?
Yes. Steam import and unlimited game tracking are free forever. Supporter ($3.99/mo) adds extras like all-time stats and bigger lists, but you do not need it to import.
Does my Steam profile need to be public?
Your game details and total playtime must be visible for the import to read them. You can set your Steam profile back to private right after importing.
Will it overwrite games I already track?
No. Games you already track are detected and shown separately so you can re-sync playtime if it changed, without creating duplicates.
Can I track games from other stores too?
Yes. Beyond the Steam import, the WListDB Windows desktop app tracks playtime automatically across Steam, Epic, GOG, Battle.net, EA, Ubisoft and Xbox PC.
